PGA Magazine Volume 88, No. 4, April 2007
There's a new player on the women's side of the market. Birdy & Grace out of Greenwich, Conn., is a full-line women's collection designed to be worn as lifestyle apparel as well as golfwear.
"We are really excited about the line for many reasons," says President Sharon Sunoo. "We focus on redefining golfwear for women to be clothing that looks amazing on and off the golf course. It is about a lifestyle in which the Birdy & Grace woman is wearing clothing that can easily be incorporated into different parts of her wardrobe."
The line is about novelty tops with lots of details, quiet, sophisticated bottoms and fashionable dresses. Fabrics are high quality with a hint of Lycra, the fit flattering and the price points in the range of Lilly Pulitzer and Fairway & Greene.

The Line will launch officially for spring 2008, but there will be two groups available for delivery this June. The first is utilizing the coloring of peacock feathers, using marine green and blue with a splash of navy. The group includes jersey and pique with a touch of Lycra. The bottoms are made of a lighter weight cotton fabric that feels like light gabardine
The second group is sophisticated, with traditional argyle, and a glen plaid that's a soft gray popped with French blue. There is embroidery on one vest, as well as Swarovski crystals on one pique polo. The shorts in the group have a lighter grey piping and are French cuffes as well.
Birdy & Grace also has a signature polo in blue, black and white. The shirt is distinguished by a wing/heart motif on the back of the polo - screenprinted on a lightweight jersey and cut out and re-stitched with a very fine metallic thread.
